Florida Vacation

We just got back from Florida a few weeks ago and man have we been busy so I'm just now getting around to posting the pics.

We stayed at the Waterscape on Okaloosa Island. It was amazing! Had everything we wanted. Lazy rivers, kiddie pools, right on the beach, ocean views...if only the condo had a spatula! lol

Halfway through the week we had Elizabeth Richardson take our family photos on the beach. She was great and I highly recommend her. Her website is here http://www.elifayephotography.com/

We stayed the first night at Meemaws and played in the pool and then got up early for the 5 hour drive. The first day we just hung around the pool. Tuesday we tried to go to the beach but Jax HATED the sand with a passion as you will see in the pictures. Thursday we rented a pontoon boat and went to crab island. The water was cold but beautiful and we even saw a icecream boat hehe.

WTE Meetup Take Two

Aaaaahhhhhh finally warm weather!

This past weekend I met up with Karla and Aimee at Maumelle Family Fest. We all had a great time and Jax's car was a hit. Afterward they came over where my husband was having a crawfish boil.

Karla stayed the night and Bear and Jax got to know each other better. Here are the pics.

Sunday we went out on the boat with some friends....we stayed on the go all weekend (I wish I would have done laundry atleast lol).

Jax's First Haircut

My friend Emily cut his hair for the first time yesterday.
:( I was said I admit, our little boy is growing up.
He did very well and was more intrigued by the
surroundings that the fact that he was getting his haircut.

WTE Little Rock meetup

So I FINALLY got to meet Karla from the WTE boards. We went to the Little Rock Zoo...it was about 45 degrees but we didn't seem to mind.

We never quite got them to ALL look at he camera...like herding cats!

Jax turns one!

On February 24th our little boy turned one....I'm sad my baby is growing up. To celebrate we had to have two parties...one here with our friends and one in Jackson with our family.

Kroger screwed up my cake order and gave Jax a 1/8 sheet cake instead of a little round cupcake...it was huge!

Our friends Wade, Eric and Emily and Angie all showed up for the occasion.

Dusty builds a new patio...Jax falls off of it

Daddy just finished this new patio that looks amazing...only thing is we haven't sodded around it so it's like a concrete island surrounded by mud.

Jax found out when he went to sit down and fell off of it...I know I should have grabbed the baby but I grabbed the camera lol. Baby is fine it was all of a 3 inch drop.
