Jax turns one!

On February 24th our little boy turned one....I'm sad my baby is growing up. To celebrate we had to have two parties...one here with our friends and one in Jackson with our family.

Kroger screwed up my cake order and gave Jax a 1/8 sheet cake instead of a little round cupcake...it was huge!

Our friends Wade, Eric and Emily and Angie all showed up for the occasion.

Dusty builds a new patio...Jax falls off of it

Daddy just finished this new patio that looks amazing...only thing is we haven't sodded around it so it's like a concrete island surrounded by mud.

Jax found out when he went to sit down and fell off of it...I know I should have grabbed the baby but I grabbed the camera lol. Baby is fine it was all of a 3 inch drop.

Xmas, New Years, and beyond update!

Ho Ho Ho! Happy Holidays everyone. Jax's first Xmas was awesome. I can't believe he is going to be one next month. Danni is still grounded due to grades and Dusty and I couldn't be better.

After five fun filled days we headed back. My friend Lauren (I don't know why I didn't take pics!) was in town so she came over for New Year's eve. We also babysat Wilson and Booty. The fireworks scared Booty so she hid out in our shower.


And life returns to normal (if there is such a thing)

I can't believe it was 75 this day!

Ok so I'm new at this blogging thing

After looking at other blogs today I realized that I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING! Oh man there are some really good blogs (or people with A LOT of time on their hands) either way....kudos.

So I'm going to try to update as much as possible. (You know this forty hour week job cramps my style.)

Anyway about us. Jax is still not crawling, though he is really trying. He will stick his little butt in the air and rock back and forth. He sleeps most of the night and eats off the table as well as baby food. For Xmas we got him a Radio Flyer Sport Coupe and I was putting it together to put by the tree he saw it and walked over (with his walker) and starting playing with the steering wheel. So with help from Meemaw words of encouragment we gave it to him lol. I know we are pushovers.

We finally got professional pics done at JcPenny last week. I only have the proofs back but here is what they look like. Jax did well (and so did his dad lol).
